What is an education voucher?
An education voucher is financial support from the Employment Agency or the Job Centre if you want to undertake further professional training or retraining. This means that 100% of the costs are covered by the employment agency.
The education voucher is intended to help you complete further education or retraining so that you can soon get started in a new profession.
What are the requirements for the education voucher?
You can apply for an education voucher if you are unemployed, looking for a job, or threatened with unemployment (i.e. threatened with dismissal, on short-time work, or have a fixed-term employment contract).
How do I get an education voucher?
The first step is to book an appointment with one of our experts so that together we can determine the most suitable course for your situation. The course that is perfect for you depends on your previous experience and your career aspirations for the future, i.e. whether you would like to work as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer.
You should then visit your employment advisor with the offer we have prepared for you. You can easily find the employment agency responsible for your region, and you can usually even make an appointment online. Your employment counselor will then be able to find the measure number directly in your offer and you can discuss together whether you would be eligible for the training course.
If you meet all the requirements, your personal education voucher will be issued. It is best to send this to us as soon as possible so that we can reserve a place for you in one of our next course.
What does the education voucher cover?
Our further education can be financed 100% through the education voucher. This means that there are no costs for you. Counseling with us and the employment agency is also completely free of charge. In addition, the employment office supports both, retraining courses that take place in person and retraining courses that participants can attend from home.
Education voucher rejected, what now?
If your education voucher has been rejected, you have several options. First, you have four weeks to file an objection. This can be useful, for example, if a mistake was made when issuing or submitting the offer. Alternatively, you can contact our advisors again to find another funding method that fits your situation.
What will I do after the training?
As part of our course, you will not only receive a certificate from the University of Paris Sorbonne, but also extensive job application training. Now you are well prepared for the job search. In addition to that, our career coaches will be at your side, throughout the whole application process.
